Our Lord answers persistent prayer
(Luke 18:1,7-8)
1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" (NIV)
Inspired by today's prayer meeting I posted these very hopeful and precious words of Jesus to his disciples. God is the God of justice. Those who are righteous, and cry out to God to see God's glory, will always be answered by God. How graceful these words are to faithful believers. May you all live your lives with persistent prayer, believing the sovereign Lord will answer all your prayers. May you pray for more people to come to know the sacrifice of Jesus for all sinners.
